Patricia Kagendo is a highly sought after professional speaker, a media personality, Bible Scholar, writer as well as Founder and Executive Director for Beyond Destiny Barriers Foundation.

In her Quest to discover her true calling, she started off her career journey by studying Front Office at Graffins College. She later studied Sales and Marketing at Kenya polytechnic before joining Kenya Institute of Management to pursue Business Management. Her love for the bible lured her to study Theology at Evangelical school of Theology.


All this time she was struggling with Low self-esteem, self-rejection, anger, bitterness and rebellion. She finally hit rock bottom and sought professional counseling. There she discovered her true calling. She enrolled at Amani Counseling Centre and Training Institute where she completed a Diploma course in counseling and psychology and is currently pursuing a Degree in Behavioral Psychology at Walden University, Baltimore USA.


Patricia’s zeal for advocacy has landed her appearances on several TV shows like Tukuza Tv show on KTN, Real Talk with Tamima, is the Resident Expert on Nisamehe TV show which airs on KTN and is the host at our very own Tabasamu Tena with Patricia.

She has also been actively involved in supporting; empowering and mentoring young people especially girls living in difficult social and economic circumstances

Beatrice Mumbi holds a Master of Arts degree in Public Policy and Administration, Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and a legal practice diploma. She is an accomplished programs director, Child Protection and Safeguarding expert with over 15 years’ experience working with local and international programs in Africa and beyond in various leadership capacities.

Early in her career, Beatrice spent two years in the South Pacific islands where she led the University of South Pacific Legal Centre’s programmes that supported the indigent to access legal support between 2007 and 2008, while also mentoring law students attached to the Centre.

Back in Kenya, she worked with a national NGO in advocacy and fundraising roles for the Organization’s ‘Women in Leadership’ Project. While here, she conducted training across the country for young women aspiring to become political leaders and supported the Organization in grant management processes.

Beatrice has worked for the last seven years in senior leadership positions in child protection and safeguarding projects spanning Africa and Madagascar, including teaching at a local university. In 2021, she co-edited a book titled ‘Creating a Consistent Culture of Safeguarding in Church and Society: Perspectives from Africa (2022)’.

Erique Ochieng holds B. Sc. Mathematics & Computer Science and National Diploma in Computer Science.


Has over 20 years’ experience gained as an ICT and soft skills lecturer in various institutions of learning. Is a Certified QuickBooks Pro and Premier Advisors, and Trainer. Has over 15 years’ experience in integration of accounting and computer systems in various profit and not-for-profit organizations.

He is also an accomplished church elder which has positioned him as a spiritual relationships and family counsellor
